What Types of Rehab are Available for Alcohol Abuse in Burlington?
When searching for an Alcoholism Treatment Center in Burlington it is imperative to select the correct type of Alcohol Program
Alcoholism Center in Burlington that will address your specific treatment needs. For most people, alcohol abuse and addiction is largely misunderstood and as a result, people often make improper choices as to which type of Alcohol Rehab Center and Alcohol Detox Facility in Burlington they should consider, therefore they often receive inadequate treatment. When alcohol abuse has become a central aspect of life for yourself or your loved one, time is essential. You must quickly educate yourself about the many different types of Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs available in Burlington.
Most Alcohol Rehab and Alcohol Detoxification Facilities in Burlington will offer a variety of services but often they will be categorized as a specific treatment type. There are many alcohol treatment types available including, out-patient alcohol treatment, inpatient alcohol treatment, alcohol detox, short term alcohol treatment or long term alcohol treatment.
Outpatient Alcohol Treatment in Burlington
There are many outpatient Alcohol Rehab Centers in Burlington. Most consist of some form of education classes, support groups, and or individualized therapy where the alcohol user does not require overnight stay. This is a popular form of treatment because of it's flexibility especially for those who cannot take long periods of time to devote entirely to alcohol abuse treatment. These types of programs can be very useful to those in Burlington who must continue to work or attend school. Programs for outpatient treatment vary depending on the patient’s needs and the facility but they can consist simply of attending an community 12-step group, to a more structured outpatient program typically meeting a couple of times every week for a couple of hours at a time or, intensive out-patient(IOP) which consists of a highly structured group program that meets 3 to 5 days a week for a few hours at a time.
Attending outpatient treatment is different from inpatient treatment in that you are not under constant supervision, you still live at home and requires strict self discipline. For those who fear they may give in to the temptation of alcohol in the early stages of treatment, inpatient residential treatment at a Burlington Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility and Alcohol Detox Center is recommended.
Inpatient Alcohol Treatment in Burlington
Individuals who feel their alcohol abuse has affected their lifestyle such as their family, friends, or work will benefit greatly from inpatient alcohol treatment. This form of treatment provides the recovering alcohol addict with support 24-hours a day. Additionally, removing the individual from their former surroundings helps them to adjust to living an alcohol-free lifestyle. The benefits of inpatient treatment also include the reduced likelihood of the individual using alcohol while in treatment as well as highly structured days.
Inpatient treatment can take place in a variety of locations. Many first think of hospitals or similar accommodations, however, this is not always the case. Inpatient treatment takes place in residential settings as well. In fact, the preferred treatment environment of an inpatient Alcohol Rehab Facility and Alcohol Detoxification Facility in Burlington would be one that was is restrictive than a hospital, but has close supervision and structured days. Most of these types of SINGULER in Burlington offer supervised detoxification that may involve medication in a hospital setting or social detoxification (i.e. no medication) in a non-hospital setting.
Burlington Alcohol Detox
Alcohol Detox in Burlington is where the recovery process begins. Quitting alcohol abuse can initially be very uncomfortable and withdrawal symptoms often occur. Alcohol withdrawal symptoms can be life threatening in some cases so it is important to seek care in a Burlington alcohol detox facility where medical professionals can manage and minimize the symptoms associated with drug or alcohol withdrawal under 24 hour care and supervision.
It is important to note that although alcohol detox plays a valuable role in the alcohol abuse recovery process, it is does NOT constitute a complete recovery. It is recommended that the alcohol abuser attends a Burlington Alcohol Treatment Program and Alcohol Detoxification Center after the initial alcohol detox process is complete.
Short Term Alcohol Treatment in Burlington
Short term Alcohol Treatment Facilities in Burlington consist of inpatient treatment typically lasting 28 - 30 days or less. Short term Alcohol Treatment and Alcohol Detox Centers were originally designed to conform with insurance companies because many insurance carriers only cover a maximum of 28 to 30 days of substance abuse treatment. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict with certainty that exactly "28 days" is the correct amount of time to recover from an alcohol abuse problem. In fact, in most cases this is not enough time for a successful lasting recovery.
Short term Alcoholism Treatment and Alcohol Detox Facilities in Burlington can be beneficial for those who have only been abusing alcohol for a short amount of time and the degree of alcohol abuse is relatively low. Short term Alcoholism Treatment Facilities in Burlington provide the alcohol abuser the opportunity to get away from their drinking patterns and for a short amount of time and focus on medical stabilization, abstinence, and lifestyle changes.
Long Term Alcohol Treatment in Burlington
Long term alcohol treatment, otherwise known as long term “Residential” alcohol treatment generally lasts anywhere from 3 to 12 months in a residential, non-hospital setting. Long term Alcohol Rehab and Alcohol Detox Facilities in Burlington use the program's entire "community," including other residents, staff, and the social context, as active components of treatment. Long term Alcohol Treatment Programs in Burlington focus on developing personal accountability and responsibility and ethical productive lives. Long term Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers in Burlington are highly structured with activities designed to help residents examine harmful beliefs, self-concepts, and patterns of behavior and to adopt new life skills, coping skills and constructive ways to interact with others.
How Long Should I Stay in an Alcoholism Treatment Center in Burlington?
There is no "magic number" as to how long is best when it comes to the length of alcohol abuse rehabilitation. There are many factors to think about when considering how long your Alcohol Program
Alcoholism Center in Burlington should be. These factors include the length of alcohol abuse history, your history of prior alcohol treatment, your budget for rehab, and how many if any relapses you may have had, and the severity of underlying issues or trauma's in your life. There is no way to determine exactly how long it will take you to fully recover from alcohol abuse. A good way of looking at the duration of alcohol treatment is that recovery from alcohol takes as long as it takes. This of course varies wildly from person to person in Burlington.
Scientific research and statistics have determined that longer term residential Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs consisting of 90 days or longer provide the greatest potential for success. Many in-patient Alcohol Rehab and Alcohol Detoxification Facilities in Burlington are typically 28 or 30 days in length. Most 28 or 30 day Alcohol Rehab Centers in Burlington were originally designed to conform with insurance companies because many insurance carriers only cover a maximum of 28 to 30 days of substance abuse treatment. Unfortunately, it is impossible to predict with certainty that exactly "28 days" is the correct amount of time to recover from drug or alcohol addiction. In fact, in most cases this is not enough time for a successful lasting recovery.
When trying to determine the correct length of stay at an Alcohol Rehab Center and Alcohol Detox Facility in Burlington, It is always best to seek help from an addiction professional who can assess the overall situation and be able to suggest the correct treatment type and length based on their knowledge and experience. Let's face it, alcohol abuse and addiction, to a vast majority of people is largely misunderstood and as a result, people often make improper choices as to which type of Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility and Alcohol Detox Center in Burlington they should consider, therefore they often receive inadequate treatment.
How Much Do Alcohol Treatment Programs Cost in Burlington?
The cost of an Alcoholism Treatment Center in Burlington can vary tremendously depending on many factors, such as the type of Alcohol Program
Alcoholism Center, the length of stay, the quality and credentials of the staff, and what services are included. All these factors make the question, "How much does alcohol rehab cost?" extremely difficult to answer with simplicity. If you are seeking the best value for your treatment dollar, remember: price can be meaningful only in the context of quality and performance.
The cost of rehabilitation for alcohol abuse can be expensive. Full-time, inpatient, or residential Alcohol Rehabilitation Programs in Burlington can cost from $400 to $1200 per day in some cases. The average cost for a residential Alcohol Rehab Center and Alcohol Detox Facility is about $7,000 per month. Additionally, there are Alcohol Rehab and Alcohol Detoxification Facilities in Burlington that are free (paid for by our taxes) however the quality of treatment is very low and success rates can suffer tremendously. Outpatient care is typically less expensive. Insurance may cover some or all of the cost of an Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility and Alcohol Detox Center in Burlington so it is important to check with you insurance provider to find out what they may cover in your case.
Also remember that the cost of alcohol addiction and alcoholism can far exceed the cost of a Burlington Alcohol Rehab Facility and Alcohol Detoxification Facility. An Alcohol Treatment Program and Alcohol Detoxification Center in Burlington is a bargain compared to the cost of the consequences of alcohol addiction such as failed jobs, failed relationships, legal issues, lying, stealing, health complications, jail, and ultimately death!
When looking for an Alcoholism Treatment Program and Alcohol Detox Center in Burlington, it is not recommended that you base your decision on price alone. Rather, it is more important to focus on the effectiveness of the Burlington Alcohol Rehabilitation Program and Alcohol Detox Facility. After all, if you're going to pay some amount of money, it is imperative that it present the best possibility for success, otherwise all is wasted and you'll have to do it all over again soon.
